Jabber Account OMEMO Trust Management

These days I have learnt much more about how end-to-end encryption works, how Trust works and why Trust is so crucial when it comes to ensuring the genuineness of encryption and avoiding MITM attacks. To ensure the security of communications with my contacts, from today, a strengthened OMEMO Trust policy is applied to my future end-to-end encrypted communications on Jabber. Jiyū no Sora de no Saikai

This is my fourth poem concerning communication software freedom and privacy (see Free Software, Free Communication , Why the Fuck the Fucking Weixin Exists and Build Friendship, Not Censorship ), but what makes this poem special is that it also aims to express longing for one of my old friends, a girl who shared the same sweet memories with me. However, these days phone notifications have been disturbing the classes, and things are getting worse recently. Therefore, I am going to enable the Do Not Disturb mode during classes, in that case notifications won’t produce a sound. In case of emergency, please contact me via the Jabber account czl-emergency@jabber.

Build Friendship, Not Censorship

In a world of closed doors and coded chains, Where whispers are tracked and freedoms wane, Weixin and QQ—names carved in silence, Enforce secret rules with digital violence. They mask our chats in proprietary shrouds, Censor our truths beneath opaque clouds, Surveillance hidden behind glossy facades, Restricting voices, stifling the odds. Yet in the heart of the open, a revolution sings, Where Matrix and XMPP spread liberated wings— A network of friends, unbound and free,
